Utah. We are just 30 minutes east of Salt Lake City on I-80, about
half way between Salt Lake and Evanston Wyoming.
Within 40 minutes of 4 ski resorts, 60 minutes of 11 ski and
cross country centers.
Surrounding Coalville are a numerous attractions.
Echo Canyon is the prominent canyon that the Mormon pioneers
used to enter Utah in the 1800's. It was later used by Mormons as a
defensive position when the U.S. sent an army to control the
territory. Historical driving tour brochures are available to
the right for download or in printed form at the hotel.
Boating, fishing, and water activities are available at nearby
reservoirs including Echo, Rockport, and Jordanelle.
Blue ribbon trout fishing happens year around on the Weber
River which flows right past the hotel property. Water adventurers
can float the river either on their own or as part of a guided tour.
Park City is rich in mining history and sports many historical
landmarks. The area was home to the 2002 Winter Olympics. Snow
Skiing, tubing, boarding, ballooning, zip lines, and hiking and
biking trails are just some of the adventures that await your
pleasure.
Walking and biking trails connect Coalville with Echo on the
north and Park City on the South. The trail passes nearby the hotel.
